Psychiatric Hospital & Abandoned Cemetery

Guided walking tour of the grounds of the active Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital.
Learn about the history of psychiatry, from ancient civilizations to modern mental healthcare.
Learn about the history, architecture, and present-day operation of one of the Czech Republic's largest psychiatric hospitals.
Visit to the abandoned cemetery associated with the hospital, known for its eerie atmosphere and local legends.
Optional stop at a café employing people from the psychiatric care facility or a supported employment associations.

Invisible Exhibition: The life without sight

Guided by a partially sighted or blind instructor.
Walk through everyday environments in complete darkness (apartment, street, forest, café, etc.).
Complete simple everyday tasks using hearing, touch, smell, and other senses.
Learn about daily life without sight through first-hand experience.
Q&A session with the guide after the tour.
Entrance area with tactile maps, assistive technologies, games, and tools used by visually impaired people.

Morning: Arrive at airport and transfer to your accommodation
Afternoon: Invisible Exhibition – guided by a blind or visually impaired guide, explore the everyday life without sight in a specially designed room in complete darkness.
DAY 2
Morning: VR First Aid Course with the Czech Red Cross
Afternoon: Workshop on Accessibility and Life Without Hearing or Mobility – led by disabled speakers sharing real-life experiences
DAY 3
Morning: Psychiatric Hospital & Abandoned Cemetery - a guided tour through the grounds of Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital on the outskirts of Prague. Learn about historical treatment methods, changing views on mental illness, and the stories of former patients. The tour ends at an abandoned cemetery.
Afternoon: Free time at leisure

Afternoon: Czech Prison System & Reintegration Programme - Explore the Czech prison system, rehabilitation and reintegration through an expert lecture, short films, discussion and optional peer testimony.
DAY 3
Morning: Army Museum Visit - focused on the history of Czech military, including historical uniforms and weapons.
Afternoon: Prague Through the Eyes of Homeless People - Explore Prague with a guide who has experienced homelessness and hear their personal story (with an English interpreter).

Topography of Terror

Join a guided tour of the Topography of Terror, located on the former site of the Nazi regime’s headquarters in Berlin.
Students explore historical traces and examine the role of perpetrators, while reflecting on how the site has been remembered since 1945.
A powerful and thought-provoking experience that deepens understanding of Germany’s past.

Memento Park & House of Terror

Explore Budapest’s recent history with a visit to Memento Park, home to striking statues from the Communist era, including figures like Lenin, Marx, and Engels.
Continue to the House of Terror, a powerful memorial and museum revealing the impact of fascist and communist regimes in Hungary.
Public transport might be needed, depending on the area where you are accomodated

Galicia Museum & Discussion with a Holocaust survivor’s descendant

Discover the rich heritage of Jewish life in Krakow at the Galicia Jewish Museum, located in the historic Kazimierz district.
Through powerful photography, exhibitions and personal stories, the museum explores the vibrant Jewish culture that once flourished across Polish Galicia, while reflecting on its history, memory and contemporary revival.
A meaningful cultural experience offering deeper insight into Kraków’s Jewish heritage.
A personal discussion with a descendant of a Holocaust survivor, sharing her family’s experiences of the Holocaust and post-war years. Students have a rare opportunity to engage directly with a witness to 20th-century history, ask questions, and take part in an open conversation.

Climate Protection Tours & Climate Workshops

Discover Vienna through the lens of sustainability on an engaging climate protection tour focused on topics such as renewable energy, green architecture, sustainable mobility, urban gardening, climate-friendly neighborhoods and innovative environmental projects.
The tours combine culture, history and modern urban development while exploring how Vienna is adapting to the challenges of climate change.
Take part in the internationally recognized Climate Fresk workshop, an interactive and collaborative experience based on climate science. Created by French climate expert Cédric Ringenbach, the concept helps participants better understand climate change through teamwork, discussion and visual thinking. Widely used by schools, universities, companies and NGOs worldwide.
