Step into complete darkness and discover everyday life from a different perspective during this unique interactive experience. Guided by partially or fully blind instructors, visitors navigate specially designed spaces in complete dark, using senses other than sight, exploring how people live, move and experience the world without vision.

Prague Without Sight

Duration: 1 hour

Discover Prague from a completely different perspective during an interactive walk through Pohořelec and the hidden streets of Nový Svět near Prague Castle. Participants explore the area in pairs, taking turns navigating with covered eyes while guided by their partner. Accompanied by volunteers from a non-profit organization, the experience offers insight into daily life without sight and how to assist visually impaired people.

Explore the history of psychiatry on a unique tour through the exterior grounds of Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital. Workshop on Accessibility and Life Without Hearing or Mobility

An interactive workshop designed to help participants better understand accessibility and the everyday experiences of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or wheelchair users. Through practical activities, silent communication exercises, basic sign language, movement tasks, and guided discussions, participants experience common barriers in a safe and engaging way. The Petřín Tower, built for the 1891 Jubilee Exhibition, is a 58.7 m high landmark inspired by the Eiffel Tower at a 1:5 scale. Visitors can climb 299 steps to the top, enjoying panoramic views of Prague and, on clear days, almost all of Bohemia.
